About Us

Business started in 1957 by George Simmons and Chuck Allen.  The business sold in 1990 to Mel Kirchgessner and Curtis Beckwith.  Mel started with Allen-Simmons in 1974; Mel is the current president of the company and is active in the
day-to-day operation of the company.  Curtis started with Allen-Simmons in 1966.  Curtis retired from the company in 2004.  He is still an officer of the company.  In 2002, David Gonzalez and Ben Gonzalez became partners in the company.  David started with the company in 1984.  He is the vice president in
an active role.  Ben started with the company in 1988.  He is the vice
president in an active role.

Although the ownership has changed the quality of work has not changed. We still pride ourselves on doing things right the way Chuck and George founded the company.

Our Team

Ben Gonzalez – Vice President
Ben joined Allen-Simmons in 1988. He has over 20 years of experience the sheetmetal and HVAC industry. Ben has served Allen-Simmons in various positions including residential and commercial installation, service of both residential and commercial, and sheet metal installation. Ben went through both the service and the sheetmetal apprenticeship with Sheetmetal Workers Local 104 union. He is presently involved in estimating and project managing.

David Gonzalez – Vice President
David joined Allen-Simmons in 1984.  He has 23 years of experience in sheet metal and HVAC.  David has served Allen-Simmons in various positions including residential, commercial, industrial installations, fabrications, and shop foreman.  He presently is involved in estimation and project management.

Mat Hamilton – Residential/ Light Commercial Estimating
Mat Hamilton has over 19 years experience installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC equipment.  NATE and EPA certified.  UTI graduate (HVAC Tech School), SMW 104 Journeyman Service Technician.

Steve Puccetti - Shop Foreman
Steve Puccetti has been employed at Allen-Simmons since 1997. He has spent several years in both residential and commercial installations of HVAC systems and architechural sheetmetal. These expieriences as well as 7 years in sheetmetal training apprentiship has provided him with the knowledge to make educated fabrication procedure decisions as shop foreman.
